May 30, 2013 Meeting
Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Christopher Otis, 87 Montague Circle, Requests a variance from Sections 214.2(c)&(e) to permit an addition to a detached garage of 280 sq. ft. requiring a variance of 220 sq. ft. and 5 ft. ft from the side property line requiring a variance of 1 ft. (Zone R-3)[Postponed from the April 25, 2013 meeting]
Robert Piersa, 21 Montclair Drive, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Official, to remove an RV that is parked in the required front yard under Section 214.1(b)(2). (Zone R-2)
Bernard Corona, 27 Winding Lane, Requests a variance from Section 2142(e) Maximum Floor Area for Accessory Structures, to permit an addition to the detached garage of 240 sq. ft. thereby totaling 1088 sq. ft. for all accessory structures on the property and requiring a variance of 593 sq. ft.(Zone R-3)
David Phillips, Agent for JMW Enterprises, LLC, 197 & 221 Burnham Street, Requests variances from Sections 209.1(a) to permit parking in the required Front Yard and 502.4(b) to permit an addition to an existing building within 4 ft. of the property line requiring a variance of 6 ft. (Zone I-2)
